At Te Kaunihera Hanganga Tautaiao | the New Zealand Green Building Council our vision is for all homes and buildings to be green and sustainable for happier, healthier New Zealanders.

Created by the building and construction sector, we’re passionate advocates representing over 700 members who believe that together we can transform our built environment.

We believe all New Zealanders deserve to be healthy and happy – at home, at school, at work. Everywhere. To make this happen we:
  • Connect with people who make a difference
  • Inspire the market to build quality, efficient buildings
  • Campaign for regulatory reform and policy change
  • Provide education and training
  • Hold events around New Zealand to share local and international expertise
  • Support with access to networks, information and resources for our members about green building

About me
I’m passionate about helping others grow their understanding of sustainable building. With a background in teaching, I’ve evolved from educating children and community groups to working with businesses — and now, I support professionals in the design and construction industry to create greener, healthier buildings for Aotearoa.
